DetailLink is operated by Chromegreen Media Limited. These pilot terms explain how the marketplace works and the responsibilities of participants. They require legal review before full commercial launch.
What DetailLink does
DetailLink is a platform for drivers to request and compare offers from independent car detailing businesses. Chromegreen Media Limited operates the platform but does not itself perform detailing, employ listed independent providers or guarantee the availability or quality of their work.
DetailLink does not process job payments, deposits, payouts or refunds. Agreements for detailing services are between customers and the participating business.
Accounts and accurate information
Users must give truthful information, protect account or guest-access credentials and use the service only for legitimate detailing enquiries or business offers. Detailers must accurately represent their identity, capability, pricing, service area and portfolio.
Do not impersonate another person, upload content without rights to use it, fabricate reviews or misuse customer information.
Quotes and appointments
A submitted request does not guarantee an offer or create a booking. Detailers choose which suitable requests to quote. Prices, inclusions, availability and time estimates come from the individual provider.
Accepting a quote creates a pending booking. The appointment is confirmed only after the detailer proposes a time and the customer approves it. The originally accepted quote is retained; a provider may propose a written price/scope change, which only becomes the accepted version after the customer approves it. Parties should confirm location, scope, access, taxes, payment method and any additional charges before the work.
Cancellations, payments and disputes
Customers can withdraw open requests and cancel pending or confirmed bookings through available controls. A platform cancellation does not itself resolve an independent provider’s lawful deposit or cancellation terms.
Customers and providers should first address service-quality, deposit, refund or payment disagreements directly. DetailLink does not act as an escrow service or guarantee reimbursement. Applicable consumer rights remain unaffected.
Content, reviews and conduct
Do not post misleading, unlawful, abusive or privacy-invasive content. Reviews are tied to completed bookings under the present system. Chromegreen Media Limited may review, restrict or remove harmful content and suspend accounts where appropriate.
By submitting images or business content, you affirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary for the platform to display them for marketplace purposes. The platform does not claim ownership of your original photographs.
Pilot limitations and changes
The marketplace is an early-stage public pilot. Outbound email/SMS reminders, comprehensive business identity verification, email-based guest recovery and automated data export/deletion are not yet operational. Guests may use a saved private recovery key. In-app complaint intake activates only with confirmed administrative monitoring.
The operator may improve, restrict or discontinue pilot features. These terms will be reviewed and updated before full commercial launch, and material changes will be communicated as appropriate.
Operator and applicable law
DetailLink is operated by Chromegreen Media Limited for an Edmonton, Alberta pilot at DetailLink.ca. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude rights that cannot lawfully be waived under applicable legislation.
A formal legal contact address, governing-law clauses and complete dispute-handling provisions require review and publication before full commercial launch.
