DESIGNED FOR MORE PEOPLE
Accessibility
Our approach to readable content, usable forms and improving accessibility across DetailLink.
Our approach
DetailLink aims to make its public information, quote requests and dashboards usable with keyboards, readable text and assistive technologies. We use semantic headings, labelled controls and responsive layouts in much of the current site.
We have not yet completed an independent accessibility audit or claimed formal WCAG conformance. The upcoming production review includes keyboard, screen-reader and mobile testing.
Known work in progress
- Test interactive quote forms and date controls with assistive technologies on physical devices.
- Verify contrast and focus indicators across all states.
- Make error messages and booking updates understandable without relying on colour alone.
- Provide a usable alternative when a control or upload interaction presents a barrier.
Accessibility feedback
A dedicated accessibility contact channel is being configured alongside general support. We will publish the verified method on our Contact page. Do not assume that a message to a detailer is delivered to the platform operator.
