THREE SIMPLE STEPS
How DetailLink works
From a photo-based request to comparing offers and coordinating an appointment.
One good request gives local detailers context without making you contact every shop separately. You decide whether an offer works for you.
1. Tell us about your car
Choose the type of detailing, describe the vehicle, share the general Edmonton area and tell businesses when you hope to have the work done. Add up to five photos to help show stains, salt marks, paint condition or other priorities.
You can submit as a guest or use a signed-in account. A request is free and does not book an appointment.
2. Review real offers
Participating detailers decide whether to quote. Each offer describes the price, scope, estimated time and availability. Not every request will receive several offers.
All incoming offers stay accessible. You can select up to three at a time for side-by-side comparison, then change the selection to compare others.
3. Agree on the details
Accepting an offer creates a pending booking, not an automatically confirmed appointment. The detailer proposes a time; you approve it before the appointment is confirmed.
Use the private conversation to confirm the location, access requirements, inclusions and how the independent business handles payment. DetailLink does not collect payments.
After the job
A review can be submitted through DetailLink after the booking is marked completed. Reviews are tied to completed marketplace bookings.
Appointment details remain visible in the dashboards. In-app reminders may be recorded when the operator runs a reminder sweep. Email updates are optional and may not be switched on yet, and text messages are not connected, so check your dashboard.
