DETAILER GUIDE · DETAILLINK HELP

Proposing appointment times

Set several available windows, view appointments on a calendar and send a time for customer approval.

Add your available hours

Open Schedule to see month and week calendar views, upcoming confirmed appointments and pending booking proposals. Choose a date and add one or more available windows. For example, you can work 9 a.m. to noon and again 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on the same day. Optionally repeat each window weekly for 4, 8 or 12 dated weeks. All calendar times use Edmonton local time.

Propose an appointment

  1. Open Schedule and select an accepted booking.
  2. Choose a day with an available window long enough for the quoted job duration.
  3. Select one of the offered start times.
  4. Wait for the customer to approve it before treating it as confirmed.

Rescheduling and conflicts

You can withdraw a pending proposal or propose a different time for a confirmed appointment. The current confirmed time stays booked until the customer approves a new proposal. The calendar excludes conflicting confirmed appointments and other pending proposals. You cannot remove a working window that contains an outstanding time proposal until you withdraw that proposal.

What the calendar does not do

This is your DetailLink marketplace calendar, not a synchronization with Google or Apple Calendar. Other appointments outside DetailLink must be accounted for by leaving those hours unavailable. Email reminders are optional and may not be switched on yet, and third-party calendar syncing is not connected.
